I just finished buying a Certified PreOwned 2010 Impala from DeLillo Chevy, and Keith their internet / sales man is completely responsive, and absolutely awesome! My old car had just finally given up the ghost after 10 years and one owner (me) it just finally wouldn't work anymore.
I called Keith and got the straight skinny on what they would give me in trade value for the car, and then we looked at the financing options first... Here is a tip to anyone buying a car, unless you pay cash, get your financing arranged for before ever looking at a car seriously. Lots of grief and hassle will be saved. Keith was an expert in making this happen.
He got us the financing and then we took the car we were looking at out on a test drive, and once my wife and I were certain this was the car we wanted we closed the deal, spent only 1 hour in the dealership total, smooth hassle free deal.
I also looked into the price on the vehicle and could not find a better price for the milage and year of the car anywhere within 100 miles of HB.
I had one issue the front brake rotors were warped and within one hour of telling the dealer about it they were fixed for free, gratis, no charge NADA! no hassle either... and the car is flawlessly running like a top! I am proud to own a Chevy, and I am happy to say that HB's very own DeLillo will be our dealership of choice for a long time to come!
If you read some of the other reviews here, keep in mind on the service side, people abuse their transmissions, (especially in trucks) outside of the warranty covered items and if a customer abused the vehicle they don't consider that warranty covered. I asked their service manager about that when I got to the service bay for the brakes on my impala. So when you consider a shop for service they are tops in care and satisfaction too.
Call Keith at DeLillo he has done this for 25 years, and is not a pushy desperate sales guy, and will make every effort to make your car deal a dream not a nightmare! We Will Be Back Many Times in the Future!

I am making a necessary update to my last review. After seeing the negative feedback in my first review, I was contacted by Delillo to see if they could correct what went wrong in the past. I am extremely grateful for Bill taking the time to contact me and ensure that my needs were met. Upon getting my 2010 Equinox back to their location all of my concerns and maintenance issues were resolved. Each member of the team I encountered went out of their way to show courtesy, attention to my needs and extreme professionalism. My car is now in great shape, all problems fixed and I can't say enough how happy I am. Thanks to Phillip and Bill, I have had a complete change of heart and will be happy to return to Delillo for all of my future car needs.

He goes out of his way to provide very friendly, knowledgeable service. I am definitely a repeat customer and frankly would purchase another GMC or Chevrolet just because of the outstanding service that professionals such as Phillip provide.
From the time you call to make an appointment, till the time you go and pay the bill, your staff goes the extra mile and provides such warm and friendly service.

I bought an 03 CTS from you a few weeks ago. I just wanted to thank you both for helping me out. For starters, Keith, you worked with me on a great price. Bruce - you went beyond what I expected of customer service - instead of showing me where the service dept was, you actually helped me get a duplicate key per my work order.
I've been pleased with the CTS - never thought I'd buy a Caddy but I did.

I am very impressed with this dealship. I had to have the driver side-side view mirror glass replaced. I picked up the part and drove to the service department and they installed it immediately and programmed my key fob. The service manager made his way out to introduce himself. Thats "customer service" if I ever saw it.They were all very nice as well as professional. I would drive 50 miles to this dealership, but glad I don't have to.

I purchased a Chevy Traverse from Delillo Chevrolet and I have nothing but rave reviews for this class act organization. My Sales Representative Tom was very helpful and knowledgeable about the Traverse. He spent several hours allowing me to test drive serval cars and was not pushy like other car dealerships that I visited. My wife was very impressed by their customer service. I called Tom to let him know of my decision to purchase the Chevy Traverse and he had all the paperwork ready to go when I arrived. I was in and out of the dealership in 30 minutes unlike other where you are there for 4 hours on a good day. I was not passed on to he finance manager and pressured to purchase all the added packages that you are normally hassled about.
I purchased to Dupont package which was scheduled for another day. The day before my service representative called me to schedule the appointment and also offered my a rental car which is paid for by Delillo Chevrolet. I arrived at 7:55 am, to my surprise a very nice women from Enterprise rental car was waiting to take me to their office a couple of blocks away to pick up my rental car. When my car was ready, I drove back to Enterprise to turn in my rental car and was given a ride back to Delillo Chevrolet. I went to the cashier signed my paperwork and my car was outside waiting for me.
I had a wonderful experience at Delillo Chevrolet and Enterprise Rental Car, which you cannot get anywhere else. Delillo Chevrolet is truly committed to providing excellent customer service and so are their vendors. If you are in the market to purchase a new or used vehicle, please try Delillo Chevrolet. You won't be disappointed.

Quality Excellent Appeal Excellent Service Excellent DeLillo Chevrolet is the only place I trust to work on my Corvette. The car is a 2001 with 38000 miles and anything that has to have been replaced has been replaced with genuine GM parts (running lights, courtesy light plus all my oil and filter changes) Car is delivered to me as clean or cleaner that when I brought it in. Oh, I almost forgot, I was a quart low on oil so I took it in because I knew that had the proper synthetic oil for it. Took about 10 minutes and when I asked the service writer what I owed, he said not to worry, we'll catch it another time. Try that at your local gas station or "Quik-Lube. lol

So I went back to a Suburban after all these years....
My wife thinks it's a perfect car for protection from serial drunk drivers that you read about every day in the OC Register, so she likes it for the extra 6 to 9 feet of metal and plastic around her.
I just like the thing since it's safe and new-car-smelly.
And I need to give kudos to Delillo for servicing my 1986 Suburban back in the '80's.
Why 4 stars? --Years ago, my 1986 Suburban needed some minor warranty work (replacing the switch that controls A/C function) which was done quickly. Then the car acted up when I tried to drive it off (after all the mechanics went home). It was the service adviser who spent 40 minutes diagnosing and replacing a fuse and had me on my way.
--When the new car gets serviced, they've promised to gave me a ride to my office and wash the car.
--On my '86 Suburban, after several months of parking it outside by the beach, the hood has rust spots (typical of pre-1990's American cars), Delillo re-painted it for free, even though the car was weeks out of warranty.
--They'll wash your car.
After six thousand miles, with a road trip to Las Vegas thrown in [see my Gold Coast Hotel review], and a postseason trip up north where the A's bit the dust, the car's officially broken in. (Yes the car survived Oakland just fine.)

On Veterans Day my husband and I came to DeLillo Chevrolet to see if we could get me another car. 7 years ago I bought a car from Delillo and so did my husband. They were wonderful and this time they got me into a 2012 Chevy Equinox. I love the car and can't thank them enough for keeping Chevy's in our family. My dad's first new car was a 1954 Chevy - Black and White. Wish he still had that car. He loved it. Anyway, we're a Chevy family and loving it!

He was set on a GMC Terrain, though in my head after searching a while and talking with DeLillo's John Hollywood over the phone for a good week and a 1/2, I knew very well that the Chevy 2013 Equinox was the vehicle to go with. I had come up with a way greater deal with Hollywood plus I had also searched and found rebates online that I was able to use thanks to Hollywood's handy help :-) . The specs on our mini suv, for the price, is just outstanding! It did not take us long to find the vehicle of our choice. On another plus side, John Hollywood called us the next day to let us know that we still qualified for another $500 rebate so we came in and signed more papers with him. Overall, we had an excellent time with DeLillo thanks to John :-) . I intend to purchase another car in the near future and will most definitely purchase it with DeLillo!!! Happy Holidays!!!! |

Our service rep Phillip Villegas has
demonstrated a strong interest to stand behind Corvette quality and fix any
manufacturing problems from the first day we bought the car. Even though our C6
Z06 has had a few long term problems, it still has required the least
maintainance of any car we have purchased in the last 20 years. Our most recent
experience concerned a final fix to a long-term manufacturing problem and this
was many years after our actual warranty expired. This level of dedication to
good quality service is a major factor which will keep us going back to DeLillo

First I thought-- why buy from a small dealership? Then I realized... from the time I set foot on this car lot five years ago--- Awesome things don't need to come in huge packages!
